gnarloo was pumping!! some rogue 12 footers

it ended up been huge!!! the saturday we got there it was probs the biggest i have seen it, almost to big and missing the reef but we all still managed to scrape into the odd one and a few crew got pretty injured one guy lost half his face. we ended up staying for the next swell and scored gnarloo 8 foot and pumping a few days later as well as some fun sessions at some other waves. we are just putting together a cool clip from the trip now and should have it up this week. i went to yamba for a week straight after with the electric crew and scored some fun beahies , it was a good contrast to the pumping pits we scored up north

just packing up the car and getting ready to head to gnarloo it looks like its going to be massive!!!! there is a fair crew from west oz heading up and im pretty sure its going to sort the men out from the boys. stay tuned for a web clip from the trip to see if we score

wats going on everyone? sorry its been a while since the last update but i just spent a month in indo. we had a ball up there! i was at the telo islands for 10 days and got some pretty fun waves nothing big but rippable stuff and then went to g land for 10 days with all the quiky boys. we scored it 8 foot one day and it was pretty crazy we had choppers and crazy cameras everywhere so it was sick to be a part of. ive been home for a bout a week now gathering some final clips for my innersection part we are putting together for its next round which starts at the end of this month, so make sure you vote for me ha ha. anyway check out the little clip below from some fun little beachies we had close to home

winter is here!!!

this little clip below is from a couple of surfs we had about 3 weeks ago. it was pretty much the first solid swell over here for this year. after been out of the water for a couple of months with my busted foot it felt good to get a couple of barrels and drop into a few solid ones!!! my foot was still not 100% during these sessions but starting to feel better and better each surf!
anyway right now im pretty much back at 100% and im flying up to indo on saturday, im in the telo islands for 10 days and then g land for another 10 after that with all the crew for quiksilver.
safe to say im pretty bloody exited!!!

wats up friends, im almost back to 100% with my ankle now and super stoked to be back surfing again. the waves have just started to pump and we got hoyo and craig anderson in town!!!! we have had some fun waves down at some beach breaks lately and also a wedgy little left real close to my house. anyway check the clip below, its from one session in the arvo and we pretty much got barrelled to the sun went down with a few mates followed by a few cold ones that night, lifes good up here!!

FINALLY BACK IN THE WATER

6 weeks later im finally back in the water, i had my first surf yesterday and it felt ok. im probably only surfing at about 70% right now but hopefully that keeps improving over the next week and ill be back to 100% and i can start nailing some clips!!! i guess if nothing else, been out of the water for that long gets you extremely motivated and frothing to get amongst it again

aaaaaaaaah my foot is still healing up so i had to pull out of the margs contest, the waves looked pretty fun to and kerrzy went nuts in the final!!! just resting it up and hopefully ill be back in the water shortly. its coming into winter around home now to ,so the next few months should be pretty exiting, keep posted as we will be posting lots of clips from some sessions around home

SORE HOOF

i got back home from the east coast the other day and im just resting a sore foot right now. i had heaps of fun on the road to the pro trip up the east coast. we scored heaps of waves and had 7 land rovers and 2 big jayco caravans it was fun. i surfed in the trials at the quiky pro and ended up doing ok. second surf at dbah i tried an air and landed straight on the sand and done a little ligament damage to my foot. anyway right now im just resting it trying to get it all sweet for the margerate river masters in about a week. i got a wildcard into the event so it should be pretty fun. anyway check out the little clip we made from the goldy, its from a coupla surfs a dbah before i hurt myself

ROAD TO THE PRO

wats up i got back from hawaii a couple of days ago, i had a bit of a shocker in the pipe contest but it was like 15 foot wash throughs for my heat pretty scary shit!!! its was pretty cool to watch the comp though jamie o was going mental. i did a shoot over there for the new dc add campaign and we each got to choose wat we would like to do for it so i went shark diving out off hawaii it was mental!!! there were about 30 or 40 of these galapigo sharks just cruising all around, i took a few shots which are attached.

anyway right now i just got to victoria ,we are doing a road trip from here up to the gold coast to promote the quiky pro which starts in a couple of weeks. land rover have sponsored it and they have hooked us up with 6 new cars to go nuts in, should be a fun trip. you can check out all the action from the trip on the quiksilver site which we will be updating everyday

wats up people i just got back from that trip i did up to the cook islands, we scored a few fun waves up there but it definately wasnt 10 feet. it was probably the shortest shallowest waves i have ever surfed with the most evil reef to!!! i stopped off in new zealand for a coupla days on the way home and scored this left that only brakes once or twice a year they reckon. fuck it was like padang padang, gnarloo and desert point all mixed into one, mental!!!!! anyway home for a coupla days before heading to hawaii on friday for the volcom pipe contest, hopefully its on and i can get a coupla pipe nuggets!!!! check out the new clip we just posted from a coupla little fun summer sessions at home

yeah people hows things? i hope everyone ones heads are starting to feel a bit better after the festive times, how much fun was it though!!!

taj had a pretty nuts new years party at his joint again which was sick and everybody had a hell time!!!

check out the clip we just posted from that little trip i did to phillip island a coupla weeks ago, some pretty fun little ramps with some cool back drops made it not a bad little clip i reckon.

anyways im off to the cook islands tomorrow (where ever the hell that is, im not to sure) to do a trip with surfinglife. me, davies, coleborn and brenno, theres whispers of it been 10 foot so we will have to wait and see!!!!

home for a week

just got back home for a week before heading down south for christmas, fuck it is hot up here at the moment!!! it reached 45 c on the drive up the other day, hot enough to cook an egg i reckon. anyway i had heaps of fun over in victoria, no epic waves but plenty of fun little beachies and stuff which was good to mix it up a bit. we just posted a new clip up from a week hanging down south called 'a week in yalls' check it out theres a pretty funny shark sighting at the start or was it a dolphin? i still havnt figured it out but fuck it looked a lot like a white pointer to me!!! we have some more clips we will be posting up over the next coupla weeks( including victoria which should be pretty sick) so make sure ya check em out!!! im heading over to victoria in the morning hoping to get a few fun beachies around phillip island, one of my uncles lives there with a ski and stuff so we are going to go catch up with him and hopefully score!!! going to be posting up another clip soon from the last week or so at home and down south and then hopefully one from vicco to if we get waves!!

been a few little waves the last couple of days but i copped the rail of my board right in the jaw yesterday. it really hurt and i can barely move it today. hopefully a couple more days and it will be sweet. at the moment im just on call for the next swell that hits a secret little island in the carolines, it might be on this week so ill keep ya posted
